What is C-Hear?

C-Hear was founded in 2015 by a diverse group of technologists and entrepreneurs with the express purpose of improving the internet for everyone. This female led company has patented a NEW type of file format, called the CHIF (C-Hear Intelligent File). C-Hear embeds sound, text, and metadata into images – which creates an unlimited number of possibilities in many industries.
The first implementation of CHIF technology is making websites and apps more digitally accessible for people with disabilities and visual impairments.
The future of this new technology involves everything from making electronic medical records more accurate and secure to revolutionizing interfaces and AI. The CHIF will secure documents, sites and apps via VOICE COMMAND. The CHIF will also enable VOICE COMMAND of the internet from hybrid GUI/VUI (graphic user interface/voice user interface) digital experiences. Finally, curation of high-quality neural network training data to teach AI’s what objects both look and sound like.

Audio Annotation for eCommerce Websites

C-Hear enables eCommerce merchants to include audio descriptions with their product images, thereby providing a more satisfactory shopping experience for their customers. Through this revolutionary technology, eCommerce sites can reach a wider audience than ever before. This visually and audibly descriptive content provides better value than typical images.

C-Hear, the App

C-Hear has developed an app for iOS devices, which allows users to take pictures or choose images from their iPhone or iPad library. They can then record a message, add it to the image, and send the file to anyone.

Medical and Educational Uses

There are many ways medical and teaching professionals can utilize this new C-Hear technology. The system allows doctors to provide verbal descriptions of test results and scans, ensuring that patients have a better understanding of their condition. Medical professionals can also maintain the security and privacy of patient data by including HIPAA notices on images in patient files.

In the educational sphere, C-Hear makes it easy to incorporate questions and solutions into shared images. The system could improve the flow of communication between students and teachers, which in turn, enhances the learning process considerably.

Using C-Hear for content protection

C-Hear can be used to add audible watermarks for copyright protection purposes. By digitally marking images with C-Hear, visual artists, designers, photographers, and other content creators can prevent unauthorized use of their work.

C-Hear is committed to providing a website experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to comply with all applicable standards, including WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards up to level AA.
